2017 Ford Escape Se 15 Ecoboost Towing Capacity Review
2017 Ford Escape Review: A Decent SUV with Strong Functioning and Plenty of Tech Features
The 2017 Ford Escape is an affordable meaty SUV with a plethora of engineering science and optional AWD. Nevertheless, there are reliability concerns regarding the engine and transmission, and the model's safety scores are on the lower cease.
Coming in under $20k for a 2017 Ford Escape, it's certainly affordable. Too, with the optional 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine it packs plenty of power and an impressive max towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
The Escape comes with notable prophylactic concerns, specifically in the pocket-size front overlap test. Additionally, the reliability of the Escape is questionable with over 450 registered complaints already on file with the NHTSA.
The Bottom Line
The 2017 Escape offers excellent technology and capability at an affordable price. However, due to its subpar safety rating and boilerplate reliability, at that place are other models like the RAV-four and CR-V we advise looking into equally well.
Positive Possessor Reviews
Want to drive todays affordable SUV, get the Escape.
No problems and then far. Stylish like all the other SUVs. Has cracking gas mileage. Swell selection upwards with the turbo. Plenty of room and storage. Rides polish and comfortable. Would recommend this vehicle. Lots of Ford dealers available. At that place are many electronic aids and features. Ford help is just a phone phone call away.
It is a condolement riding vehicle
Good vehicle for travel or leisure. I have owned one in the by and dear the escapes
Information technology drives actually well it's safe and comfortable.
I honey the lighting inside changes color. I dearest the bliss system. I love the back 7i p cam .
The (bluish) apple of my heart.
My motorcar drives well. I feel safety in it and I trust that information technology will evangelize me and my family safely to our destination. I enjoy the color of the car, the backup camera and other safety features, and other upgrades (leather seats, room roof, etc..). Ford makes a cracking production and the Escape is a reliable and comfortable model.
It is safe and fun to drive with decent mpg.
Information technology is very comfortable to bulldoze for long distances. The technology is keen to have. I like the ability rear power liftgate, push button first and the key fob functions.
Colorful and comfortable. . . Easy to drive handles well on the route.
The just thing I tin think of correct now is on the Ford the windows are not seal good and you can hear the wind and racket from the outside, rode. Oh just thought of another trouble no matter how you adjust your seat y'all cannot see the font of the hood like I can with my Honda and that makes it very difficult for me to judge when I pull into a parking lot or estimate my distance and that tin be very frustrating. Otherwise I love my Ford and it would brand me very happy if they would correct these two things that I mention that would be corking.
All wheel drive is a dandy safety detail to have.
Low gas mileage. Seat belt hard to bring forward to buckle. Handles very well.
Best value for the coin.
I take had the Escape for a year and half. Took information technology to the dealership for one minor repair. . A plastic slice on the manifold for a vacuum line. . That is it. . All nosotros do is oil changes and tire rotations. Over 30, 000 miles and couldn't be happier with my purchase. All-time value for the money is the Escape. It is the se package. . For the four-bicycle bulldoze. . For snowy days.

I will never ain another Ford
I have a 2017 escape. Mechanically I've had no issues. However I've found a defect in the pigment all around my windshield. It is just coming right off the auto. This automobile is but 3 years old with just 24,000 miles. I went to the local dealership who reached out to Ford and they said sorry nothing nosotros can do. This is a defect in their workmanship and they take no responsibility. I will never own a Ford once again.

Car has known engine block/coolant issues non addressed by Ford
NO I would not recommend past this vehicle. Equally indicated by others, the engine light came on one twenty-four hour period and the dealer told me that the engine must be replaced. I purchased the motorcar used in Jan 2019 and the engine went out in Oct 2020 due to coolant getting into the engine. This is a known problem with this model because Ford had to do a recall of their 2013-2014 models of this car (SE with ecoboost) for the same problem. They merits they solved the problem, however, they take not. Ford should correct this result and stand behind information technology's product. This was the outset fourth dimension I'd purchased an American made car in 25 years. This experience reminds me why. Why can foreign manufacturers offer 100,000 mile warranties on their SUV's (call back Hyundai, VW, KIA) and why can't Ford and other US manufacturers do the same? I would actually similar to buy American made vehicles, but they don't/won't stand behind their product for what is obviously a manufacturing problem that has non been reliably resolved. $vii,000 for a new engine for a car manufactured in 2017 is ridiculous. The car has been parked since Nov 1st because I don't have that kind of money.
Engine Blows at 61K Miles - Ridiculous
Engine lite goes on at 61,400 miles. Dealer says the car needs a new short short block. Can you believe it engine neglect a 61K miles. Initially Ford wouldn't honor the warranty as car was over by ane,400 miles. After much haggling they offered $1,400 on a $half dozen,000 repair. Nevertheless owe $10K. What to practise?
Major engine problems related to remember
I bought this car used less than a twelvemonth ago the engine started acting like it was going to stall took information technology into the dealership in Fenton mi they said they did the recall but did not connected having issues took information technology into another dealership they accept had it over a calendar month said the coolant was leaking into engine block said they replaced it merely at present take replaced creepo shaft twice but tin't get engine to stop leaking they are at present telling me they are calling a Ford engineer nonetheless don't have car back worried will continue to have problems once I do

Not wasting money
I have been in formed that I must buy iv new tires when 1 goes bad I was told it could ruin the tramsmison if i did not this is a ripoff I would not accept bought information technology. Throw away 3 good tires because i is bad
Diddled engine
I take a 2017 ford escape se. Started snellin antifreeze at 31,000 miles took it into ford and it needed the engine replaced. Fast forward information technology's been iii months I've had the car back and I'm sitting at 37,000 miles and I'k smelling antifreeze again. I will never own another 1.

Never again
Bought new, at three years erstwhile had 31,000 km and engine had to be supervene upon. Not long afterward warranty was up the pigment started peeling. I guess the White 2017 is know for this. Be conscientious buyers.

2017 Escape's 3 Trims Offering Loftier Tech, Backup Photographic camera, Panoramic Moonroof, and AWD at Affordable Cost Points
The 2017 Escape keeps it uncomplicated when information technology comes to trims, offering buyers but 3 options: the South, SE, and Titanium. Additionally, Ford offered vii optional packages for the Escape.
Base Model Southward Trim Comes with a Reliable Engine but Without AWD
The entry-level S trim offers basic technology at the nigh affordable price. It's important to annotation that it comes with the more than reliable ii.5L I-4 engine in FWD only and there are no packages available for the S model. The base of operations model Escape is equipped with no-frills coming with cloth upholstery, ability windows, a backup photographic camera, and remote keyless entry. This trim is best for buyers who demand the size of an SUV but don't need things like AWD or modern technology. Kelley Blue Book says you can pick one up from a dealer for somewhere between $15,983 and $19,207.
Upgraded SE Trim Brings AWD, 2.0L I-4 Engine, and Loads of Tech to the Table
The SE trim differentiates itself from the S trim with its standard i.5L I-4 EcoBoost engine and optional 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost. It's besides the first trim to offering AWD, although FWD is still standard. Key technology on the SE trim includes a ability commuter's seat, premium fabric interior, dual-zone climate control, Ford'due south SecuriCode keypad, and paddle shifters mounted on the steering bicycle. At that place are several options available such as a tech parcel that adds Ford's Sync three viii″ infotainment system, a common cold-weather package that adds heated mirrors and seats, a leather packet that adds leather seating, and a sports appearance package that comes with black wheels and accents. A power liftgate, panoramic moonroof, and a roof rack are also bachelor.
Prices for an SE with the i.5L I-4 engine range from $17,068 to $20,574 for the FWD and from $17,949 to $21,455 for the AWD version. SE Escapes with the upgraded 2.0L I-4 engine price between $17,446 to $xx,952 for FWD and somewhere between $18,327 and $21,833 for AWD.
Pinnacle-of-the-line Escape Titanium Trim has Driver-assistance Applied science, Improve Speakers, and Easily-free Liftgate
The Titanium comes similarly specced to the SE trim. A 1.5L engine with FWD is standard with a two.0L engine and AWD beingness optional. Even so, information technology adds driver-assist technology such as adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring organization, and rear parking sensors. It as well comes with excellent technology like an eight-inch infotainment system with a 10-speaker Sony sound system, ambient lighting, a universal garage door opener, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Ford didn't stop there, it too has heated leather seats, a roof rack, a easily-complimentary liftgate, and heated mirrors.
Prices for the Titanium with the 1.5L I-iv engine range from $xx,144 to $24,449 for the FWD and from $20,919 to $25,224 for the AWD version. Titanium Escapes with the upgraded 2.0L I-4 engine cost betwixt $20,144 to $24,449 for FWD and somewhere between $20,477 and $24,782 for AWD.
2017 Escape Offers Basic Color Options too equally Some Brilliant Hues Like Canyon Ridge and Lightning Blue
The Ford Escape comes in nine different colors. The colour selection includes the basics such as silver, black, white, and gray. However, there are a few colors that we think the Escape looks best in, like Canyon Ridge, Lightning Blueish, and Magnetic.
There are only three color options for the Escape'south interior. Blackness cloth seating comes standard for all trims. However, the SE and the Titanium also have an optional Light Rock interior.
Engine Options, Fuel Economy, and Operation Range from Sluggish two.5L I-4 to 2.0L I-iv EcoBoost's Increased Functioning and Reliability
The Escape is bachelor with three dissimilar engine options. The 2.5L I-4 engine comes with a max towing capacity of 1,500 pounds and is reserved for only the base of operations model Southward trim. A 1.5L I-4 EcoBoost Engine that can tow up to 2,000 pounds comes standard for the SE and Titanium. Finally, the 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine is optional for the SE and Titanium trim, boosting the Escape's max towing chapters to three,500 lbs.
Base Model two.5L I-4 Engine is Underpowered but Reliable
The base model 2.5L engine is sluggish when compared to its competitors. With a measly 160 hp and 170 lb.-ft. of torque, it would never exist described equally fast. Edmundswent every bit far as to say that the base engine "lacks punch." Also, think that the 2.5L I-4 engine is simply coupled with FWD, so at that place is no chance of having AWD with this engine. Yet, if you don't demand a powerful engine or AWD, this is a slap-up option every bit it has been relatively reliable. The EPA says that the 2.5L engine is capable of a combined mpg of 24.
Avoid the one.5L I-iv EcoBoost Engine Due to Reliability Concerns
The 179-hp one.5L I-4 engine is arguably the most mutual engine found on Escapes as it's the standard engine for two of the iii trims. This is concerning because it has some massive reliability concerns that nosotros'll cover later. If you dare to roll the dice and get with the ane.5L I-4 engine, know it provides mediocre power and gets an EPA combined fuel economy of 26 for the FWD version and 24 for the AWD version.
2.0L I-four EcoBoost is the Engine of Choice, with Increased Performance and Reliability
If we were to buy an Escape today, there is no question that the two.0L I-4 EcoBoost would be our engine of option. Edmunds agrees, saying that the 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost "Unlike many competitors, it never lacks for ability." The two.0L I-4 is bachelor for the SE and Titanium trim only and comes with optional AWD. Although it'south more expensive, information technology'southward a perfect example of you paying for what you get. What you get out of this engine is increased performance, improve reliability, and comparable fuel economy.
The two.0L I-4 engine increases the max towing capacity to 3,500 pounds thanks to its 245 hp and 275 lb.-ft. of torque operation numbers. All of this comes at a modest price to the fuel economy, 25 combined for the FWD version and 23 for the AWD version. To recap, it has 66 more hp, 98 more lb.-ft. of torque, and tows 1,500 more pounds all at the cost of one mpg.
2017 Ford Escape Comes with Average Cargo Infinite that Falls Curt of Many Superlative Competitors
The 2017 Escape is 72.4-inches wide, 178.one-inches long, and is 66.3-inches tall. Its overall cargo book is 68 cu. ft., which is average compared to its rivals. It comes in behind Honda's CR-V, Subaru's Forester, Toyota's RAV4, and Nissan's Rogue. However, it beats out the Mazda CX-5 and Chevy Equinox. It comes with an average-sized fuel tank, at 15.7-gallons.
Although an 'To a higher place Boilerplate' SUV, 2017 Escape has Some Condom, Maintenance, and Recall Issues to Consider
The reliable reference website Repair Pal places the Escape at 16 of 26 for the compact SUV class. They gave it an overall score of four out of v stars, which is all the same above average for most vehicles. They merits that owners can expect to spend an boilerplate of $532 a twelvemonth on repairs.
2017 Escape has Several Reliability Concerns, Including Engine Problem, Transmission Failure, and Peeling Paint
While sifting through the Escape'southward 450+ complaints reported to the NHTSA, we plant v recurring issues. First, the one.5L I-four engine has a trouble where coolant leaks into the spark plugs and ends up ruining the motor. This leads to the costly repair of an engine replacement, costing about $3,000 to fix. Some other common issue is with the automatic terminate-and-start engineering science found on both the 1.5L and 2.0L I-4 engines. Basically, the vehicle would plow off and not turn back on, the ii.5L engine is the only way to avoid this. The next well-nigh mutual problem was paint peeling around the A-pillar. Other problems included early manual failure and trouble with the ability liftgate unlatching.
2017 Escape has Lackluster Safety Rating Due to Poor Crash Testing, Weak Headlights, and Difficult LATCH Arrangement
In terms of rubber, the 2017 Escape underperformed with the IIHS in the small-scale front overlap exam on both the driver and rider side receiving a score of "Adequate" and "Poor," respectively. Additionally, the IIHS didn't like the headlights found on the Escape, with the base model and SE trims receiving a "Poor" rating. Whereas the top-of-the-line Titanium trim received a mediocre score of "Marginal." They also found that the child tether LATCH arrangement was not easy to use.
2017 Escape has Express Standard Rubber Tech, Requiring Y'all to Pay for Options like Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Parking Sensors
Bated from the standard backup camera, the Escape doesn't come with much standard safety technology. Most safety tech is reserved for the higher trims, and some require optional packages. When equipped with the optional SE Applied science Package, the SE comes with a blind spot information system and rear backup sensors. The Titanium trim comes standard with both technologies. Additionally, information technology offers buyers the selection of adaptive prowl control and collision warning with restriction support.
Ranks #12 Compact SUV by Owners
2017 Ford Escape vs. Chevy Equinox, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-5
Overall, the Ford Escape just tin't compete when it comes to CR-Five'south fuel economy and reliability. Nor tin it match Toyota'south prophylactic. Nevertheless, information technology does offer the big two.0L I-4 engine which gives information technology a massive edge in operation and max towing chapters.
Chevy Equinox Loses on Cargo Space and Technology, Matches Escape's Towing Capacity
The Escape and the Chevrolet Equinox are the American competitors of the compact SUV segment. They both are similarly priced, accept the aforementioned max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs., and accept comparable fuel mileage. The Escape bests the Equinox when it comes to technology on similarly priced trims as well as overall cargo space. The Escape has 4 more than cubic feet of cargo space. News listing of Affordable Compact SUVs. When it comes to cargo space, the CR-V boasts an additional viii cubic feet over the Escape. Besides, the Escape can't bear on the CR-V'south combined fuel economy of thirty mpg. However, the Escape wins a key boxing when it comes to functioning with its optional 2.0L I-4 engine. 2017 Ford Escape'due south Poor Condom and Reliability Ratings Are Worth Conscientious Consideration
The 2017 Ford Escape provides great technology and adequacy at an affordable cost. All the same, its reliability and safety are questionable, with a likely possibility of an engine or manual replacement in the future. We suggest being careful. You tin also consider a Certified Pre-owned Escape for some added peace of mind thanks to the closer inspection and extended warranty. If everything checks out and no signs signal an issue, besides possible reliability issues, it's a competitive SUV in its class for an entry toll of less than $xx,000.

Amazing, comfortable ford escape.
Then comfy! A picayune louder then I would like, merely nix horrible. Bang-up gas mileage! Lots of trunk space, fits four tires. Handles really well. Easy to switch between menus. Sometimes information technology disconnects my secondary phone, but it is easy to reconnect. I wish plugging in my telephone to the auto wouldn't override all other media, merely that is not a huge consequence.

It is black on the within, easy to ride in very smooth radio works bully.
The colour does non ruin a time goes. It has a lot of nice features and the radio works really well. It is piece of cake to set up and is not really expensive when you fix information technology yourself simply since we can fix information technology ourselves we do not know how much it is at a mechanic! It is very comfortable merely the inside does get very hot and things can burn you. Sometimes the seatbelts get stuck but that is okay information technology fixes after a infinitesimal or two. It is a smoothen ride does not milkshake at sure speeds or anything. It handles speed bumps and potholes really easily and it does not take many issues on the road. It does not over oestrus and nosotros haven't had to fix much. The payments are smashing and neither is the insurance nosotros employ. It is comfortable and the air and heat works really well.

The electronic maintenance notifications are helpful and let the auto to be kept at pinnacle condition. The center console has many nice features like storage compartments, cupholders and touchscreen for media and controls. Sometimes the USB ports do not work and do not accuse or connect devices plugged into them. The just other effect with the motorcar is that at that place is occasionally a rattling dissonance in the passenger door. Overall, the car has slap-up winter features, storage space, safety features and I would recommend it.

The merely issue I have had is that sometimes when the car outset turns on, the radio does not work. And then in order for me to get information technology to work I volition take to plough the auto off and back on. Other than that the motorcar is great and I do not yet accept anything bad to say about information technology. iv.five out of v for me.

The one thing I don't similar is that the within is very pocket-size and the trunk is very modest too. I will recommend this car to my friends and family. Also the cost was practiced. Automatic windows, and has lights everywhere on the within which makes it very piece of cake to find door locks and even has lights in the cups holders which is astonishing.

The reliable and comfortable ford escape.
The ford escape is a reliable, durable, and overall a trustworthy car. Through my daily use of the vehicle I take experienced comfy seating, impressive treatment, and great audio quality. The only effect I have experienced is the auto get-go/stop does not piece of work all the time.

My ford escape, a perfect auto for easy maintenance and a comfortable ride.
My car drives very well. We have gotten new brakes and tires, only maintenance repairs. All else is great. The car gets decent gas mileage and is a comfortable ride. My car has a moonroof which we really love just in Florida it is non used several months of the year.

Bought a calendar month ago.
Just bought a 2017 last calendar month, the first payment isnt due yet! Paint chipping on the driver side windshield. Dealer says Ford wont cover information technology, waiting to see if dealer makes it right! Traded a 2011 Escape, never had any problems with it!

Ford escape 2014 and 2017.
This is my 2d escape. I have had problems with both. Mainly turbo problems. We had to supplant engine in 2014 escape. It is a dainty small SUV simply they are know for problems with the turbo. Also had problems with linkage break. Wouldn't become into park. Plastic piece broke over 1000 dollars to fix.

Ford escape review from a millennial mama.
I love all the actress room in the back! Information technology is amazing and the leg room in the back seat is decent. I had some problem fitting my toddler's motorcar seat behind the driver'southward seat, only fit enough. Information technology rides very well and shine. I did not get a 4wd 1, merely this FWD however gets going in the snow.

Truly tiptop of the line and all-time in prophylactic!
The merely trouble I have with my ford is it could be a little more spacious in the dorsum. Condolement wise, it is amazing! I tin can suit my commuter seat perfectly to fit my needs! It has so many convenience options, such equally foot activated cargo door, keyless entry, and blind spot detectors.

2017 ford escape, is a great vehicle only non my personal favorite.
I have not notwithstanding had any issues with my ford escape. Information technology drives smooth and nice with easy breaking. I am a SUV driver and it feels more like a car and the gas mileage is not very expert. I feel also low to the footing and prefer something bigger. The backup camera come up in handy with my horrible fill-in skills.

Spacious car with smashing features.
I absolutely dear my car! It is spacious enough for all my dogs and it rides really smoothly! It is not like a big beefy bus driving around- it actually whips around similar a small-scale machine! I would recommend this auto to anyone looking for space and reliability.

Titanium 57K miles review
My 2017 2L Eco-heave Titanium Escape (pearl white, light interior), AWD, 57K miles is a very squeamish vehicle. It is competent with its AWD and 2L turbo engine. If yous review YouTube for functioning relative to other vehicles in its form - it is not the slowest vehicle by whatever means. It does take Turbo lag on the freeway. However, in Sport "S" mode that is less obvious. Information technology has an average placidity interior ride dissonance and I believe the seats are non as comfortable as others in its class. I have the leather seats and compared to the fabric seats they are much ameliorate, but still could be better to make a long bulldoze more tolerable. Its body platform sits upwards on the road which I similar. I added sound deadener to the rear surface area and under the rear carpet. What a difference! My automobile never sees a garage yet, I am a hobbyist detailer and it looks exhibit condition. I take not experienced any of the paint issues suggested by others. To be 100% transparent; my wife has the 2018 Titanium Escape and no outcome there either. I did modify the low beam head lamp to LED type and I like the color of the lite that produces. (Research your LED's very well). Finally, I take had the body motorcar-close / open replaced at a cost of ~$300 Us Dollars. I too had to supercede the Serpentine belt; tensioner and caster simply recently and was a chip surprised not at the belt but the pulley and tensioner being shot. Finally, I did change spark plugs to NGK 9568 (I believe)dire OE replacement part - and that provided a noticeable improvement in acceleration and fuel milage. At least in my case the manufacturing plant Motorcraft plugs were causing it to run rich.

Dandy on gas and affordable.
I absolutely love my ford escape. I have the ecoboost model that allows it to get upward and go. It is also very practiced on gas getting about 35 mpg in boondocks. As of now with gas at 2.25, fill it with 20 dollars or less a week and I do a lot of running. It has been very reliable and practice and is highly recommended for those who are single or with a small family unit, or an older couple.

Information technology is the basic model just wouldn't change it for the world!
Great automobile! Has keen gas mileage! Null really is wrong with information technology only the times I got in my accidents! Really nifty car bigger than people remember! Can concord a lot of things! Seats fold down to make it somewhat pretty apartment! Able to fit some large things in there not to large! Cracking for if yous drive a lot and live far from work or from friends and family and demand to drive!

Ford escape titanium "an SUV that drives like a sports machine".
The titanium model is the best to get because it has all the bells and whistles and is very fun to drive! It comes with leather seats, heated seats, Sirius XM radio, total apple carplay (which is my favorite). This automobile is an SUV with plenty of room just it drives like a sports motorcar!

A reliable vehicle in unreliable times.
I enjoy the vehicle'south performance and information technology is a smooth ride. However, in that location are bullheaded spots on the driver's side of the vehicle and there have been a few issues in regards to the check engine light coming on. Information technology is a reliable automobile and it is comfortable and the features are cut edge.

SUV that offers many desirable features, not bad gas mileage, and more.
The ford escape titanium is a compact SUV that offers a lot of features. It drives very well much similar a car and has corking dispatch and a smooth ride. While the escape looks attractive on the outside, the inside is slightly lacking in space. This is especially true for the rear passengers as the leg room is very limited. The cargo surface area in the back is decent, yet, I practise like the large space that it offers when the dorsum seats are folded all the mode down to extend the cargo area in the trunk. The rear seats practise fold downward easily and lay flat once folded. In addition to the dandy performance of this vehicle, it also gets decent gas mileage (better than most SUVs on the marketplace in the same range). I also find the colorful under lighting on the interior of the motel to exist a nice affect. Some things that I would have liked to see in this model, would be more than storage room. It lacks cup holders making it hard safely store more than 4 beverages of boilerplate size. I too detect the front console to be a piddling smaller than I am used to having. While the Bluetooth pairing with smartphones and tablets is relatively piece of cake, the rear camera is not as articulate every bit I would like (compared to the Chevy models which provide a very sharp paradigm when backing up).

The backup and the spot side mirrors are a real asset when irresolute lanes.
Has really expert performance, gets around 26 miles per gallon gas. Has all the room needed to handle things needed. Have never had whatever bug, replaced tires at 43,000 miles keep them rotated and balanced. Has very good headroom and legroom. Brother in law is 6ft five' tall and he tin get in and out with bumping his head.

I will never own another Ford
I have a 2017 escape. Mechanically I've had no issues. Nonetheless I've found a defect in the pigment all around my windshield. It is but coming correct off the motorcar. This car is only 3 years former with only 24,000 miles. I went to the local dealership who reached out to Ford and they said sorry nothing we can do. This is a defect in their workmanship and they take no responsibleness. I volition never own a Ford again.

2017 ford escape SUV. It is a very nice vehicle.
My 2017 ford escape does not take many bug. My ford escape has very good performance. The ford escape has very good reliability over all. It is very dainty inside and is very comfortable to drive. The ford escape has a lot of very squeamish features too.

Engine problems
This is my 14th brand new Ford since 1986. I purchased a 2017 SE Ford Escape new, check in calorie-free came on with simply 20,000 miles, took to dealer Twice and they replaced a sensor. Check engine calorie-free coming on and off after nearly some other yr , and so didn't come on for several months. At 51,000 miles engine arrangement mistake light on, service immediately. Took to dealer ship and said antifreeze leaking into the motor. Needs motor replaced.Having to wait for parts to make it and was told information technology will take three weeks to repair. Totally disappointed in this Ford product. Should exist a production recall. Was told this was the 3rd one that had come in with engine issues recently. Buyers be ware.

Information technology is the perfect size for me and my ii dogs.
My ford escape has the basic features; backup photographic camera, Bluetooth, electric windows and seats. It is the first vehicle I have owned with a backup camera and I will not become back to not having ane. The seats fold down, which gives a lot of infinite if you need to motion. If all the seats are up, the "trunk" area is very spacious, my dogs take enough of room. I have had people say it does not ride very smooth but I exercise not listen it. I have had it for a trivial over three years and I have not had any problems.

The auto has very good gas mileage.
This car is very skillful on gas and has a lot of room. The back seats fold downward to give the motorcar more space to move items. It has a rear view photographic camera and can connect to Bluetooth. The machine rides nice and is comfortable if your looking for a economical vehicle.

Not bad quality, affordable family auto.
I love this car. It is not too big or also minor. It gets corking gas mileage, in town and on the highway. Fifty-fifty the standard features are overnice. I actually similar the interior design. Information technology is comfortable and fits my family of 4 well. Information technology was not expensive, but it is a quality vehicle.

Polish ride and expert handling.
Very comfortable interior, smooth ride, handles very well. It gets moderately practiced mpg on highway and urban center driving. The onboard display is clear and upwards-to-date, with bluetooth technology. I really enjoy driving this car. It provides a decent level of luxury and is a fun automobile to drive.

2017 ford escape se. The best small SUV on the planet.
My ford escape is a great SUV. It gets really good gas mileage and is very reliable. Information technology is comfortable and can agree a lot of cargo. It handles really well and is very sporty looking. The features are easy to read and the air-conditioning and the heater work actually well. I have moved a bedroom dresser in the back as the back seats flatten out and expands the cargo area.
